Ola Begins Its Water Taxi Service From Guwahati Airport To The Main City

Ola boat service is now a reality. The cab hailing app in alliance with the Assam Government began testing the boat service from the Guwahati airport to the main city via the Brahmaputra River Channel on February 7 and so far the results are very promising. And if all goes well in the future too, Ola will make the service public after a week.

It is worth noting that this high speed water taxi service would reduce the average time taken from the Guwahati airport to the main city by 45 minutes from one hour by road to 15 minutes by water taxi. Ola boat can cover as much as 15 km in 15 minutes.

ola boat service in guwahati

To facilitate the service, a jetty is built near the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Guwahati airport) from which the boats would run till the the jetty in the main city. The water taxi has a capacity of 15-20 people and would be machine operated. These high speed taxis would run from Lachit Ghat, Machkhowa to North Guwahati and would drastically reduce the commute timing from 45 (by road) minutes to 2-5 minutes.

If the pilot run proves to be successful, the government would consider expanding the service and prioritizing the water taxi commute even more. This would be not only beneficial for the economy and development but would also be a sigh of relief for people who would have otherwise taken the road and spent hours commuting from one place to another via road.

Russia Plans To Open A Luxury Hotel In Space By 2022 Since Earth Is Too Mainstream!

While most of us are still working on our bucket list for 2018, Russia has already established some major travel goals in the outer space. A space agency in Russia plans to open a luxury hotel in space by 2022 and you are welcome to board the spacecraft if you are willing to pay an amount of JUST $40 million! You read that right!

Russia Plans To Open A Luxury Hotel In Space

According to the leading tech magazine Popular Mechanics, Russia plans to make a comeback in the space tourism business with the launch of this luxury hotel at the International Space Station (ISS). Letting the travelers relish the taste of orbital adventures, each module weighing 20-ton and measuring 15.5 meter-long is expected to offer:

  • Five-star services
  • A luxurious orbital suite park
  • 4 Private cabins measuring 2 cubic meters each
  • A 16-inch window in the lounge for glaring at the space
  • Two Personal hygiene cabins measuring 2 cubic meters each
  • Exercise equipment
  • 4 portholes with a diameter of 9 inches
  • Pressurized space of 92 cubic meters

Interiors of a luxury hotel in space

Last but not the least, one will also have an access to full-fledged Wi-Fi services (much needed yes?) at the luxury hotel in space. In addition to all this, you not only get to admire how tiny our planet Earth looks from a distance of about 250 miles into the space but also get a chance to experience the thrills of a guided space walking tour with a professional cosmonaut.

Coming to the real deal, the whole trip will be for a duration of about one to two weeks and a round trip would cost each traveler just about $40 million. Also, if the ones born with a silver spoon (diamond spoon actually) would like to extend their stay to about a month, it will cost them an additional amount of just $20 million.

Russia Plans To Open A Luxury Hotel In Space

Initially, RKK Energia – the main space station contractor of Russia plans to send two travelers on every Soyuz flight wherein the travelers will be accompanied by a professional cosmonaut. And with so much to do in space by 2022, you might as well start your planning now!

Fancy a trip anyone?

This Is The Happiest Country On Earth According To The World Happiness Report 2018

Eager to find out if yours made it to the list? Well, here we go:

Every year, UN’s World Happiness Report ranks 156 countries based on the collective levels of happiness of the people who live in them. Published by the U.N. Sustainable Development Solutions Network, this report takes into account factors such as life expectancy, equality, social support, and a few more. This year, the report has also taken into account and measured the well-being of the country’s citizens and residents.

Finland has been named the happiest country in the world for 2018, pushing 2017’s winner – Norway – into second place.

Nordic nations have almost always scored high on this report in the past, and history has repeated itself this year as well! Other Nordic nations falling in the top 10 on this list include Denmark, Iceland, and Sweden. While Norway got pushed to the second position, the U.S. fell from the 14th to the 18th place this year.

The view of striking Northern Lights from the Glass Igloos in Finland

Meik Wiking, CEO of the Happiness Research Institute based in Copenhagen said that Nordic nations like Finland are “doing something right in terms of creating good conditions for good lives and are good at converting wealth into well-being” despite having to pay some of the highest taxes in the world.

John Helliwell, a co-editor working with the World Happiness Report says that while these countries have fewer immigrants than other nations like the U.S., the people who immigrate to happier countries are in turn often happier as well. “The most striking finding of the report is the remarkable consistency between the happiness of immigrants and the locally born,” he said.

Surreal Things To Do On A Friends Trip To Sri Lanka

Both my friends and I are crazy, fun-loving, and adventurous people who love to travel places. Having explored a couple of cities already in the country, and being a mix of entrepreneurs and homemakers, we were wishing to take an international trip this time that would give us a refreshing break from our routine. And our holiday in Sri Lanka offered just that, whilst proving to be a delight.

We finalized the destination, keeping its close proximity to India and our budget in mind, and everything worked perfectly in our favor. After closing the location, we wanted someone to plan and organize everything for us, and since my travel agent was out of station, I was looking for someone else.

posing in nuwara eliya

It was while browsing Facebook that I finally came across TravelTriangle, and the customized packages’ feature really appealed to me. I downloaded the app right away on my phone, and filled up our trip query. Within minutes I got a reply with different quotes, after which we customized our itinerary as we needed some adventure. Soon after, I received a final quote, and Ms. Dimple our travel consultant very supportingly took care of everything, while motivating us for the all girls trip.

Trip Type: 5 Days 4 Nights friends trip
Cost: INR 3,78,660
Inclusions: All the accommodation, breakfast and dinner, transfers from and to the airport, local sightseeing and experiences, an English speaking driver with a private cab, and GST
Exclusions:Lunch, Airfare and Visa, Entry fee charges, Personal expenses, and anything not mentioned in the inclusions

Day 1: Climbing the Sigiriya rock & visiting Dambulla Cave Temple

trekking to sigiriya

posing in front of sigiriya

Our trip kick-started on an adventurous note soon after reaching the Sri Lankan land, as our trip representative Mr. Dilshan took us to Dambulla and Sigiriya. Witnessing these heritage sites, especially the century old cave temple, the paintings, and climbing the citadel of the famous Sigiriya rock are definitely the best things to do on a friends trip to Sri Lanka, and we were proud that we did it.

Climbing through the rocks, frescoes, and sitting at the top made us feel so much at peace, that any amount of words would be less to describe that feeling. Later, we headed back to our hotel in Dambulla and called it a day.

Day 2: Visiting Kandy

sightseeing in kandy

This day, we were all energized and excited as our Sri Lanka trip itinerary had sightseeing and shopping in store for us. After a hearty breakfast, we began with a tour to Kandy where we visited the Kandy Murugan Temple, the Tooth Relic Temple, and did some shopping. All of us wished to wear a saree like Sinhalese ladies, and Mr. Dilshan did his best by taking us to a great store from where we bought really beautiful sarees.

Later in the evening, we reached Nuwara Eliya where we had our stay planned for the night.

Day 3: Exploring Nuwara Eliya & rafting in Kitulgala

sightseeing in nuwara eliya

We wanted our holiday to have the top adventurous things to do on a friends trip to Sri Lanka, for which, we chose to visit Kitulgala for white water rafting. But before tasting the thrill, we began our day with a visit to the Hanuman and Seeta Devi Temples and other historic places mentioned in the Ramayana. It truly made our experience enriching and gave us a glimpse of a beautiful side of the Sri Lankan land.

river rafting in kitulgala

Later in the evening, we finally reached Kitulgala where the world famous adventure awaited us. White water rafting in River Kelani turned out to be an unforgettably exciting experience, and all of us loved every bit of it. With proper safety gears and the live camera around, we felt both safe and motivated to indulge in the adventure sport. For anyone who is heading to Sri Lanka, has to do this activity at least once in their life.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Colombo

shopping in colombo

sightseeing in colombo

The second last day of our friends trip to Sri Lanka was all about exploring the wonders of Colombo. Soon after having our breakfast, we left for the capital city and reached there by noon. Our sightseeing tour included The President’s House located at the Fort, the Galle area, the Pettah area, and a few temples. Colombo surely seemed like one of the best places to visit in Sri Lanka and exploring it gave us immense joy.

Day 5: Shopping in Colombo

lunch in colombo

Since this was the last day of our trip in Sri Lanka, we wanted to make the most of it. So, we did what we loved the most, i.e. shopping, and a lot of shopping. Most of us bought gifts and souvenirs for our families and friends before finally bidding adieu to this city. Later, Mr. Dilshan dropped us at the airport for our flight back home, and we flew with sweet memories in our hearts and smiles on our faces.

This was no doubt one of the best and safest trips that we have had, and we cannot thank TravelTriangle and our agent Direct Link enough for that. Everything from our hotels to our experience was top-notch!

  • Climbing the Sigiriya rock
  • White water rafting in Kitulgala
  • Shopping
  • While there weren’t any low point in our trip, the one thing that made us really upset was the food in Kitulgala. It wasn’t good and some of us even ended up with a stomach ache. At that time, we really wished that we had known a better place to eat in the city.
  • When you visit the Sigiriya rock, make sure you climb to the top since the view from there is absolutely worth it.
  • Sri Lanka has some of the finest sarees, so if you’re a Shopaholic, don’t forget to visit the best store in the city and buy a couple of them for yourself.
  • Even if you’re not an adventure lover, do indulge in rafting in Kitulgala as it’s an adventure of a lifetime and it will make your trip more memorable.
  • Do research a bit about the best places to eat before your trip begins.

Our overall experience was so incredible that if I had to rate it, I would give a 5/5 and definitely recommend my friends & family to plan a Sri Lanka trip with TravelTriangle. It was a perfect pocket-friendly trip in comparison to the other online agents, and our trip coordinators were very cooperative and friendly, which made everything super convenient. In short, we loved it!

3 Girls, INR 3000 And One Wonderful Trip To McLeod Ganj! #HacksIncluded

An Honest Confession: We were 3 rookies with super low budget, planning a last minute trip to McLeod Ganj. Besides, it was the the time of a long weekend when all of Delhi heads for the hills. Chances of success- scarce.

But we weren’t about to let go of the idea that popped in our heads. It was one of those once-in-a-long-time impromptu plans that fills your heart with excitement. In spite of having to consider the above mentioned hurdles and the safety of a girls only outing, we did manage to pull off a refreshing and well managed trip.

Go ahead and find out how we did it, so that the next time you’re in a fix you can use one of these hacks:

Total Budget per person: INR 3,000/-
Duration:  1 Night / 2 Days

Mcleodganj landscape picture

Let the exciting journey begin!

The first 15 minutes of my mundane life are spent staring at the hills (on my laptop) every single day. Being a workaholic, a break seemed almost impossible until one fine day I just decided to follow my heart.

All pumped up and set for the trip, I roped in 2 more friends and that’s when the HPTDC website flashed – no tickets available! What followed was one scary thought – I won’t find a room either. But that was no match for my enthusiasm. The will to ‘just go’ forced me to find an alternatives!

How we booked last minute tickets to Himachal when HPTDC buses had no seats for us

One of the perks of working in a travel firm was getting leeway on 11th hour (or 59th minute, to be more precise) travel planning. Go bug your colleague a little and Voila! The next thing I know, we were on a surprisingly comfortable journey to McLeodganj.
Round Trip Cost: 1,800/- per person
Amount Left: 1,100/- per person
Hack: Contact Travel Agents in such situations
Tip: HPTDC buses are cheaper. If you plan in advance, you can save!

Traveler friends to the rescue: Even at this peak time, we found us a cozy room and our worst nightmare was over!

Shiva cafe and Guest House in Mcleod Ganj

Always keep your resourceful traveler friends close.

Getting in touch with a few of our traveler friends, we discovered this quaint place to stay called Shanti Café and Guest House owned by John, an avid traveler and tour guide. He managed to get us a room at his place on a very short notice and saved the day!
Cost: INR 900/- per night (300 per person)
Spent: INR 2,100/- per person
Left: INR 900/- per person
Hack: Always keep your resourceful traveler friends closer!

Day 1: Mind you, we went to chill & relax, not to exert. And our trip was just about that!

Stop 1: Food. Views. Weather.

A sudden jerk woke us up to the dazzling sights. Our bus twirled around the winding roads, following the meandering Beas river full-of-pebbles and the sky in hues of gold and mauve. Our bus came to a halt! The weather was just right. We couldn’t have asked for more! We reached Mcleodganj, checked into the cozy rooms (just 5 minutes away from the bus stand), freshened up & ordered some delectable breakfast!
What we ate: Omelettes & Coffee!
Cost: INR 50/- per person
Spent: INR 2,150/- per person
Left: INR 850/-

Stop 2: Next, we decided to chill at Shiva Café enroute Bhagsu falls.

Shiva Cafe in Mcleodganj

We walked our way to the famous waterfall. It’s a tiny hill station and you don’t need to get on wheels.

We spent our day beside the waterfall, away from the tourist jazz. Walking uphill can be taxing was but trust me, the tranquility up there was worth all the trouble! Once we reached the top, we knew why the place is so damn popular. It’s a lovely laidback café with the waterfall gushing by its side. And oh, it’s a pot head’s paradise! 😉
What we ate: Maggi, Hash browns & Cold coffee
Cost: 120 per person
Spent: 2270 per person
Left: 730/-

Stop 3: Woeser Bakery & it’s Coconut Paradise!

The entry to Woeser's Bakery in Mcleodganj

A local we befriended on our way to Mcleodganj had recommended this bakery. While it looks like any other cafe, the delectable options it serves left us wanting for more! Variety (to the power infinity) of teas, mouth watering cookies & brownies, freshly brewed cappuccino – I bet you won’t find coffee like this any where else!
What we had? Cinnamon Tea, freshly brewed cappuccino & Coconut Paradise Cookie
Cost: 130 per person
Spent: 2400 per person
Left: 600/-
Tip: Do not return without trying the freshly brewed Cappuccino & Coconut Paradise Cookies

Stop 5: What’s a trip to the hills without a night spent gazing at the sky?

A fantastic view of the starry night from our guest house's patio

The tiny little lawn, a lantern, one old monk, a few glasses, the creepy sound amidst the pine trees – our little patio of Shanti Cafe. No network, no light, just a few random old numbers playing on the ipod – that’s all we desired – to be cut off from the external world  & to dwell in our thoughts under the star lit sky with a cool breeze flowing through our hair amidst the wild.
What we ate? Dal, Roti & some Chakhna
Cost: 120 per person
Spent: 2520 per person
Left: 480/-
Tip: John can help you arrange some liquor, if in case you want it!

Day 2: The un-visited village & the hail storm

Heap of chocolate pancakes

A way through the woods from the cafe led us to Dharamkot. We had until 5 in our hand to take a quick walk to the village & be back to the cafe for some Kahwa Chai (yes, in Himachal) & chocolate pancakes – they were yummy, especially for the price we paid.
Breakfast: Pancakes, Chai & Cheese Sandwich
Cost: 100 per person
Spent: 2620 per person
Left: 380/-

So, all geared up, we stepped out, only to return.

So, all geared up, we stepped out, only to return.

It was near 12 already and we only had a few hours left now. We couldn’t just stand there in the shed and wait for the rain to stop. So, we finally walked back to Shanti Cafe which looked totally different now. The hailstones falling in the lawn, the trees swaying in the cold breeze, the drizzle soaking our faces & the smell of delicious food – it was our tiny little utopia! Yeah, we ended up spending the rest of the hours in the cafe hogging on every yummy morsel available – cheese french fries, pancakes, momos, coffee and lemon ginger tea.

Cost: 190 per person
Spent: 2810 per person
Left: 190/-

Though this was the quickest break we took our guest house made it all the more special for us! And did we mention it was an absolutely safe all girls trip?!

So, come on girls, you now know that a limited budget, safety issues or ticket unavailability can’t stop you from taking a break. Head out and go for that long overdue break!

He Was Hypnotized In Maldives, It Can Happen To You Too! BEWARE

Being at Maldives is not about lavishly spending on shopping or going around relentlessly visiting tourist spots, but about simply relaxing and getting in touch with the absolute natural. Sanjay Pasari realized that Maldives is of the stuff that fantasies are made of, while on his 4D/3N trip to Maldives with his wife and two daughters. At a total price of Rs.168,001, his package covered their stay at luxurious resorts, dinner, breakfast and transfers. Terming it as his best international trip, here is what he has to share.

My family and I are extremely fond of traveling. I make it a point that my family travels to one international destination and one domestic destination every year. I have been successfully following this routine since the last 9 years. This time on the demand of my younger daughter, we shortlisted Maldives to be the one. I started looking for the perfect package, but since I didn’t find many tour operators in Kolkata who could provide me a package for Maldives, I started looking online. On being offered a suitable quote, I sealed the deal with TravelTraingle.

Tip: When it comes to family trips, it is always better to have a travel expert handle your trip. Also, another good thing about traveling to Maldives is that there is no Pre-Visa requirement. Upon landing in the country, you get Visa on arrival that has a 30 day validity.

Day 1: Exploring the sunny side

Having fun around the beach resort

We were picked up from the Male International Airport at around 2 pm and were transported to our resort by a speed boat in 20 minutes. On reaching our resort — Superior Beach Bungalow, we were delighted to discover the mesmerizing view from the balcony of our rooms.

sunset at the resort

After checking in at the hotel, we proceeded towards the beach adjacent to our resort. Benumbed by the scenic beauty, we sat around the beach for an hour and blankly admired the sun change its colors — from fiery yellow to orange to dark blue. Retreating from the beach, we went for our dinner at the resort’s restaurant which was included in our package. Though we were offered a sufficient variety of food, the Indian cuisines served were not up to mark.

Tip: Most of the resorts in Maldives serve Indian cuisine so travelers need not worry, but it is always better to confirm from your agent.

Day 2: Soaking in the Maldivian beauty

hanging around at the beach

Since I am an early riser, I started the day with a morning walk along with my wife and we were later joined by our daughters. Superior Beach Bungalow is situated right on the beach, thus offering a perfect view and an uncrowded space for a peaceful walk. After a refreshing bath at the beach, we went for the breakfast. I rejoiced having some Maldivian specialties but my wife and daughters couldn’t, since there were hardly any vegetarian options available.

Tip: Always choose your accommodation carefully since all the rooms on your resort could be beach facing but if you’re someone who prefers the ocean view more than anything, a water villa could be your thing. Luckily, for us, we booked both.

running around the beach

The day was free for leisure. Though we enjoyed our time swimming at the beach and hanging out on the balcony — we could not get enough of the Maldivian beauty. The only problem was the weather, which revolved around 30 degrees through most of the day.

Tip: Be prepared for some serious sun since Maldives during this time is usually a bit hot during the day.

preparing for adventure activities

Back at the reception, we inquired about water sports that were being offered at the resort. We wanted to book a submarine trip but were informed that it won’t be possible until 8 members from the resort book for the same. When the minimum required number could not be fulfilled, it got cancelled. Back at the beach, we indulged in jet skiing and paragliding.

Tip: Activities at most of the resorts in Maldives are paid and could also be subject to availability and weather conditions, so be careful about that.

paragliding in Maldives

Paragliding in Maldivian waters was very exciting and safe, since it was very well organized. The beaches were very clean, serene and uncrowded, unlike the beaches of Pattaya and Phuket that we had previously visited. Later in the evening we happened to see the Heaven Villa, and got hypnotized by its sheer magnificence. We then inquired about the difference between our pre-booked Water Villa and Heaven Villa. At a price of $75(Rs.5000) per person we got our stay upgraded and booked the third night’s stay at the enthralling Heaven Villa.

Tip: Once again, it is important that you know the kind of accommodation you would be getting and if you’re not happy, one can always try for an upgrade, which most of the resorts are happy to cater to.

Planning your holiday in Maldives but confused about what to do? These Maldives travel stories help you find your best trip ever!

Real travel stories. Real stays. Handy tips to help you make the right choice.

Day 3: A stay in heaven

The stairs of our resort

Having upgraded our stay, the next morning we shifted to Heaven Villa. Our rooms not only featured an extremely fantastic view from the balcony but also a private Jacuzzi. The best part was that we could get down in the sea right from the balcony itself!

from Heaven Villa into the sea

Post a delicious lunch at the villa, we caught up with the water sport activities that were left — kayaking and snorkeling. After having a power doze of adventure, we stayed in the balcony of the villa for the rest of the day. The experience of being at the resort was such that it was hard to extract ourselves from its exquisite beauty.

Hanging out at the balcony of Heaven Villa

In the evening we went for the shark show, which was a one-of-a-kind experience. As night approached, we arranged our own dinner thinking that it was no longer included in the package after up-gradation. It was only on the next day that we got to know by the resort authorities, that it still was.

Tip: Always be aware about the inclusions and exclusions in your package.

Day 4: Speeding back home

At the beach

Bedazzled by the rising sun, we once again woke up early to see the sunrise. Since we had a flight to catch at 2 pm, we began packing by 11 am. We then had our breakfast and cleared out the bills at the reception for up-gradation and water activities and left for the airport on the speed boat.

Speed Boat in Maldives

High Point: The trip was managed perfectly and we had a very relaxed holiday.

Low Point: Better negotiation with the resort authorities could have been done while getting the stay upgraded.

Tip for future travelers:

  • Maldives is the perfect place to chill and relax. Your indulgence with natural serenity will remain uninterrupted throughout your stay.
  • Get to know about your accommodation before you book
  • State your requirements clearly to the agent so that there is no last minute miscommunication
  • Try to book a full board package where all your meals are covered since it turns out to be more economical

Allow your senses to be hypnotized by the mesmerizing Maldives. Resisting would yield you nothing, so Book NOW!

More than a hobby, travel for me is a passion. It is a journey from the world we are living into a world that is yet to be discovered. For me, the prime motive of going on a holiday is to relax and spend quality time with family and friends. It lets me recharge my body and revive my soul to regain the energy I lose during my hectic work schedule.

I and my family were already certain on the location – the blissful North East. All we now needed was a tour package within our specified budget. I had come across TravelTriangle through Google search, but it was only after a friend of mine confirmed it to be a good option through his own experience did I actually go ahead with it. I finalised upon Wecare Holidays and thankfully, they did not give me any reason to regret it throughout the tour.

Here’s what all me and my family experienced in Pelling and Namchi:

DAY 1: Transfer To Pelling From New Jalpaiguri

Since we had stayed the previous night at a hotel near the NJP Railway Junction (we had arrived a day earlier than planned), we woke up refreshed and ready for the adventures that awaited us on our North East family trip. Our trip representative, who had met us with a broad smile on his face at the train station the day before, drove us all the way to our hotel in Pelling.

After breakfast, we proceeded for a full day sightseeing tour of Pelling. Nestled at an altitude of 7,200 ft above sea level, Pelling is an offbeat town in the state of Sikkim that offers mesmerising views of the Himalayas and the Kanchenjunga range. We first visited the Khangchendzonga Waterfalls which was cascading in full force at this time, followed by the Pemayangtse Monastery, that seemed to have a calming aura about it.

WOW Moments Of The Trip Everything about this trip was WOW for us!

Tips For Future Travelers:

  • Do not stay at Mount View hotel in Namchi. Pick a better option
  • Ravangla is equally stunning. One should definitely stay one night there as well
  • Avoid feeding the fish to maintain cleanliness at the Khecheopalri Lake
  • Rabdentse Ruins are a little tricky to locate. When descending from Pemayangtse Monastery, take a left turn and walk down the forested path for 10 minutes to reach the gateway of Rabdentse Ruins. The location lies hidden from the main road
  • Stay at Sodizang Retreat in Pelling for a lavish and enjoyable Pelling family trip experience

Guide Things To Do Vietnam Travel

Over 1 Lakh Indian Travelers Are Expected To Visit South Africa In 2018. Are You One Of Them?

Be it the surreal beauty of South Africa or be it the challenges like Day Zero that it has faced, the country has always strived to stay on the map for its tourists. And ensuring the same, the South Africa Tourism is now aiming for some really big numbers this year. To put it down precisely, as per them, more than 1 lakh Indians are expected to visit South Africa in 2018.

The country is focusing on promoting various activities that will suit all ages and types of travelers as they seem to be more popular among Indian tourists. Alpa Jani, a spokesperson from South Africa Tourism mentioned to PTI that Indian tourists make up the eighth-largest group of travelers to South Africa, wherein the US, UK, and Germany are at the top three. Of this group, most of the Indians are those holidaying with families, couples on honeymoon, young millennials, and people coming for meetings, conventions, incentives and events (MICE).

vineyards in south africa

They also revealed that the business travelers made up around 16 percent of all the arrivals that came during the same period, whereas the leisure travelers and holidaymakers made up around 27 percent. What further came as a good news was the fact that the millennial traveler numbers have risen from just around 35 percent in the first three months of 2017 to 46 percent in the following three months.

In their study, they also drilled down to the regional level and highlighted how Mumbai, Delhi, Gujarat, Bangalore, and Bengal were amongst the major cities whose residents traveled to the country. In lieu of this, Jani also said that the reason tourism numbers from India have been encouraging is the overall challenge that the Indian Tourism Industry has been facing.

And while there aren’t any direct flights to South Africa as of now, India still has a number of connecting flights that might help in making the former country meet its expected numbers smoothly this year.
